Donna Jenkins

Please say hello to Donna Jenkins.
This is Donna's first year with the Pictou County Weekend market and her craft is jewelry making.

Throughout her life she has always had an interest in various types of crafts.  As a mother of four, she really never had the time to find her nitch.  She explored many different kinds of crafts by herself and with friends.  

Then, about 4 years ago, just after she lost her mother, a sympathetic friend offered to teach her to make jewelry. She has never looked back and enjoys every minute of it.

The combination of shapes, sizes and colours of these stones are a pleasure to work with each day in her home office.

Her parents owned a small store, so as a child, talking to the people in her community was an important part of her life.  Now she enjoys sharing stories with all the interesting folks that pass through the Pictou Market each weekend.

She only deals in gemstones and glass products (no plastic) and takes care in selling her products to her customers.  She will take orders when possible and provide delivery on the next weekend at the Market.

She finds that all the vendors are "amazing , so supportive and kind at the Market."
